John Shuttleworth
John is currently General Manager of Platforms, Marketing and Communications at BT Financial Group, where he is responsible for the Group's investment and superannuation administration platforms, as well as the Group’s marketing and corporate communication functions. Prior to joining BTFG in 2004, John co-founded an internet technology company that grew rapidly from a start-up into a successful services firm before being sold to a NASDAQ listed company. John has broad product and marketing experience, having worked as an executive for FMCGs such as Unilever, and in tourism for Thredbo Alpine Village.
David Lees
David is currently General Manager, Super, Investments & Retirement at BT Financial Group, where he is responsible for wealth product and distribution. Prior to assuming this role, David was a General Manager in Westpac Group Transformation, and was part of the team that designed and implemented Group strategy following Westpac’s purchase of St.George Bank. David was previously the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer of BT Financial Group, and has been a senior executive at Westpac for 15 years.
Harvey Carter
Harvey Carter is the Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Westpac. Transactions advised on include the $18Bn merger with St.George Bank in 2008, the IPO of BT Investment Management and the acquisition of 49% of Hastings Funds Management in 2005 for $86m. Prior to joining Westpac, Harvey had five years M&A experience working for Morgan Stanley in the Australian Investment Banking team (Melbourne) and the US Financial Institutions Group (New York), and in Private Equity (Catalyst in Sydney).
Andrew Landman
CEO - Ascalon
Andrew leads a small team focused on helping Ascalon's partner firms grow. Andrew is on the board of Ascalon and sits on the boards of each of Ascalon's boutiques. Prior to Ascalon, Andrew was the CFO of the Challenger Funds Management. Andrew started his career at Bankers Trust where he worked extensively across the operations side of funds management. He has 17 years industry experience.
