About Alleron
Alleron Investment Management Limited (Alleron) was established in 2004 and is a Sydney based specialist Australian equities manager. Alleron is best described as a high alpha manager, relying heavily on stock specific risk for its expected performance. Alleron has five investment analysts and a dedicated CEO, Barry Littler.
Alleron runs a high conviction portfolio of 25-35 stocks, with a large company orientation. Stock positions are not constrained by index weightings, although the manager is cognisant of a company's weighting in the index and targets a maximum ex-ante tracking error of 7%.
Alleron's investment performance ranks it among the top 13 long only Australian managers in the country over five years (source Mercer, to end of January 2011).
